3rd Easttyrolean Nature Stories
During the 3rd "Easttyrolean Nature Stories" event, which stands under the motto "life in the water", you will have the chance to meet with artists, legend and story tellers. One week long the family event offers stories, arts and nature hikes.
The event offers Workshops daily from 10:00 am as well as 5:00 PM afternoon tea-stories, farmers market, sunrise hike, festival opening and grand final and lots more |

Mountaineering in the Defereggen Valley
Every Wednesday a guided tour with a nationalpark ranger to the mountain tops „Defergger Pfannhorn“ or „Weißes Beil“ are offered.
Weißes Bei: 27th of July, 10th and 21st of August 2011
Deferegger Pfannhorn: 3rd, 17th and 31st of August 2011
The hike starts at 7:00 am with a duration of about 7 hrs.
EUR 8,00 per person plus additional taxi costs will apply. (receive discounts with the Osttirol Card). This adventure is for experienced hikers only.

Being on the scent in the nationalpark ….
Every Thursday a nationalpark kids adventure programm is offered in the Defereggen Valley. Being on the scent of hunters and gatheres.

Nature Watch
Every Friday a nature watch hike with a nationalpark ranger takes place. The hike starts at 8:00 am and is for about 7 hrs.

This is a medium hike and suitable for families. Specula and binoculars are offered to use during this adventure.
Join the national park ranger on the hike and enjoy watching wildlife (billy goats, deer, marmots, ...) and learn about the living habits of the local wildlife. Let us take you on the scent of former hunters and gatherers. |
